'Excellence' is the norm for customers at Torbay Vauxhall
STAFF at local car retailer, Torbay Vauxhall, are celebrating after being presented with a highly-coveted Vauxhall Customer Excellence Award.
The yearly award by the British manufacturer recognises and rewards top performing retailers for the quality of service they give to their customers, using only customer satisfaction as the judging criteria.
To celebrate this special accolade, Retail Operator, James Gilbert and his team were presented with their Customer Excellence Award at the dealership on Torquay Road.

The retailer in Paignton was one of the 66 Vauxhall retailers in the country to have the highest and most impressive combined scores from Vauxhall's Purchase Satisfaction and Service Satisfaction surveys, calculated at the end of 2012.
Customers are invited to take part in both surveys after they buy a new Vauxhall and after they get their vehicle serviced for the first or second time. Over 129,000 responses were collected by Vauxhall last year, helping to generate an accurate and long-term picture of customer experience.
David Doublett, Vauxhall Head of Customer Care Operations for the UK and Ireland, said: "At Vauxhall, we recognise that Torbay Vauxhall has gone that extra mile to help our customers and make their purchasing and servicing experiences as positive as possible.

To recognise their outstanding effort, the retailer was presented with a plaque announcing their accolade to display at the dealership and a special logo has been placed next to their name in the Vauxhall dealer locator, in addition to receiving commemorative badges for all staff.
This award win comes just weeks after Torbay Vauxhall was crowned Vauxhall's Professionals Area League winners, having soared to the top of the region's league table in the manufacturer's recognition programme.
Customers visiting the dealership are promised that they can continue to experience the highest standards of professionalism from what is now the best Vauxhall team in the area.
