A NEW venue had been added for the 2010 Herald Express Baby and Toddler of the Year competition.

Bonny babies will now be able to have their pictures snapped at Union Square in Torquay town centre, as well as the venues already announced.

A toddler category is also a new addition for this year's contest.

The competition, entitled Baby and Toddler of the Year, is bigger and better than before, with a fourth age category included.

Infants aged between 0-9 months, 10-18 months, 19-36 months and 37-48 months can take part in 2010.

Entry forms will be available in the Herald Express from March 22, with professional photo sessions taking place across South Devon.

From March 22 to 24, photographs will be taken in Sainsbury's, at The Willows, Torquay, from 9.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 5pm.

This will be followed on March 25 at Union Square, Torquay, from 10am to 4.30pm, and on March 26 and 27 at Morrison's in Paignton from 10am to 4.30pm.

The final photo sessions will be in Tesco, Newton Abbot, on March 29 and 30, from 10am to 4.30pm.

A special supplement will appear in the Herald Express on April 27, when voting coupons will be published.

The second supplement will be printed on May 25, featuring the top 15 from each age category, and final votes can be cast between May 25 and June 9.
