FINAL SCORE: Torquay United 1-2 Bradford City
TORQUAY United's long unbeaten run came to an end during a squally first half at Plainmoor.
All the scoring came before the break in a game which started in a torrential downpour and ended in bright sunshine.

Torquay were never allowed to settle by a determined Bradford side, and the conditions did not help the home side's neat passing game.
The Gulls did take the lead, however.
In the 13th minute Eunan O'Kane crossed from the right and Danny Stevens swept the ball in right-footed from the edge of the box.
The goal had come against the run of play, however, and Bradford soon hit back.
Craig Fagan equalised after 19 minutes as Torquay struggled to clear their lines and three minuites later Fagan turned provider, linking up with Kyel Reid for the latter to lash the ball into the roof of the net.
Torquay were much better in the second half and created a string of chances.
The closest they came to a second goal was a Mark Ellis header from a Kevin Nicholson free kick which hit the outside of the post.

“Forget Bradford. We were always going to come unstuck against a well supported team like them.
Pity though, for five minutes we were top of the league!
Next month we have Crawley, Rotherham and Swindon, all away from home.
If we beat two of those three, we can say we are promtional material”
