EXQUISITE Fashion's first event proved a big hit with more than 50 women gathering at the Imperial Hotel to swap their clothes, enjoy an evening out and see fashion shows.

Organiser Karan Coulter was delighted with the response.

"It went really, really well. "The feedback we had was brilliant.

"People were saying it was a fabulous night, a good concept.

"And they liked the fact you could exchange garments as well as buying new items," she said.

Garments available for swapping were a mix of high street and designer names.

As well as brands such as Karen Millen, Monsoon and Jesire, there were a few gems such as Dolce and Gabana shoes, Ghost dress and a Boss suit.

Plans are already underway for the second event which is due to take place in March.
