Titled 'Our Buckland, Our Film' it has come to fruition thanks to a £10,000 Heritage lottery fund grant.

It's made possible thanks to Haytor View primary school teaming up with Newton Abbot Community Interest Company and SureStart.

Scott Hampton, deputy head at the school, said: "This is a project that will seek to engage the whole community, young and older, residents and visitors alike. We are confident that this grant will signal the creation of a series of films and encourage film makers from across the community to recognise the value and heritage of their immediate locality."
