Firefighters called to Exeter flat
A fire appliance from Exeter Danes Castle and one fire appliance from Middlemoor were mobilised to reports of a building fire at Geneva Close, Exeter yesterday evening.
Upon arrival crews confirmed a small fire in the drying room of a first floor flat, which was out on arrival.

The flat was heavily smoke logged, so fire crews used breathing apparatus and a ventilation fan to clear the air.
Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service stated that the fire had been started deliberately.
