Firefighters called after Totnes water main bursts
FIREFIGHTERS in Totnes were called out this morning to deal with flooding caused by a burst water main.
The alarm was raised at 10.20am in Collins Road, where a member of the public had reported water entering properties in the area.

The cause was a burst water main in Sparrow Road, with water entering two properties.
South West Water were at the scene trying to stop the flow of water and South Hams Council provided sandbags.

A South West Water spokesman said at 2pm on Tuesday: "We would like to apologise to customers in Totnes without water following a burst mains on Swallow Road.
"We have now isolated the burst and re-routed water supplies to most of the town.
"Three roads remain affected - Collins Road, Lower Collins Road and Sparrow Road.
"Bowsers are being dispatched to the affected roads."
Supplies were restored shortly after 4pm.
