Firefighters tackle A38 car blaze
A fire appliance from Bovey Tracey and another from Newton Abbot were mobilised to reports of a vehicle fire on the A38 westbound, between Drumbridges and Goodstone Cross.
Upon arrival crews confirmed one car in layby to be well alight. Crews set to work to extinguish the fire using two hose reel jets, two breathing apparatus and one covering jet. The car was 100% damaged by fire.
