Fishing boat capsizes after hitting Paignton Pier
BOTH Torbay lifeboats were called into action in the early hours on Sunday after a fishing boat collided with Paignton Pier and capsized.
The alarm was raised at 3.30am when the 21-foot fishing vessel Nimo fouled her propeller in her own fishing nets and drifted into the pier.

The Nimo's radio aerial was broken off on the pier structure and red flares used to raise the alarm.
The flares were seen by a local boatman who contacted the Coastguard.

She was well flooded and capsized but remained afloat.
Nimo was taken at very slow speed to Torquay Harbour and moored.
