ONE of the highlights of the summer music programme, the Dartmoor Folk Festival at South Zeal, takes place from August 6 to 8.

Full details of the line-up will be announced shortly, and the event will include the Dartmoor Step Dance and Broom Dance Championships, a Dartmoor fayre, craft displays, dances, a music hall, ceilidh, workshops, folk service, pub sessions, children's entertainment, plus a Sunday ramble.

A children's festival includes circus skills, storytelling, arts, crafts and music sessions.
