Free Sunday parking returns for winter months at Teignmouth resorts
FREE Sunday parking has been re-introduced in Teignmouth and Dawlish car parks for the winter months.
Both resorts have joined the successful scheme which sees all 35 of Teignbridge Council's car parks free of charge on a Sunday.

The council's free parking scheme was introduced in July 2011 and is aimed at boosting local trade and cutting costs to motorists.
The decision to offer free Sunday afternoon parking was taken as part of the council's measures to try and ease the impact of the credit crunch on local people and businesses and to encourage visitors to the district.

Since it was launched, it has been well received by residents, visitors and traders.
It will run until the end of March 2013.
Now the peak season is over, Teignmouth and Dawlish are both being put back into the scheme to encourage more local people and visitors into each town during the quieter months.
Cllr Stuart Barker (pictured), Teignbridge Executive spokesman for assets and resources, said: "In the longer term it should also give our major towns a great boost in the run-up to Christmas.
"This car parking review and the continuing council tax freeze is something the new administration promised in 2011, with both helping to keep costs down for Teignbridge residents in continuing tough times."
