The evening, in aid of Rowcroft Hospice, is being produced by Zoe Nickless and will be directed by her husband Ben.

The cause is close to their hearts as Zoe's mother Sue was a patient at Rowcroft before she died in 2007.

The duo have managed to call on many of their performer friends to appear in the show, titled Never Forget Rowcroft Hospice.

Ruby Washington, Paul Cobley, Lisa Walker, Dean Winters, Lisa T Winters, Zoe Harris, Petter Baffles and the Starlight Dancers are all lined up to appear.

Teignbridge-based vocalist Paul Cobley is looking forward being in the show.

"I'll be working with some great friends and very talented people," he said.

"I really wanted to do the show, as Rowcroft is a very special place. I have known some very special friends in the past who have stayed in Rowcroft and the care they received was fantastic.

"The staff are so caring and I think you have to be a very special person to work in a place like Rowcroft. The whole atmosphere there is calm and very relaxing.

"The show Ben and Zoe are producing really has something for everyone. There are some cracking musical numbers and they have some very funny comics appearing. It really is going to be a show you'll never forget."

Stand up comic Dean Winters is also pleased to support the cause.

"I've done three or four charity shows for Ben and Zoe and I'm really happy to be invited to perform again," said Dean, who is originally from Lancashire and has lived in the Bay for around 10 years.

"I've been a regular at Babbacombe Theatre over the years, so it seems natural to appear in this show.

"I'll be doing a different routine to my current segments in the show Spellbound at the theatre and there will be a few surprises too.

"I'll also be duetting with Paul Cobley."

Curtain up at 7.30pm.
