A SEEDY Saturday is being held in Bovey Tracey.

The event is a day for buying or swapping fruit and vegetable seed ahead of the growing season.

The event is taking place at Bovey Tracey Methodist Hall, on Saturday, February 11, from 10am until 2pm.

The event is being held by the Bovey Climate Action, the group behind the Bovey Community Garden.

It aims to encourage people to grow their own fruit and vegetables.

There will be growing advice and junior gardeners can sow seeds and take them home for free.
