"My story is one of seeing the hand of God move in my life and lead me to a point of making him Lord of my life.

"Even though my early experiences of church were not good and could have easily put me off for life, God used even those experiences to reveal himself to me.

"Through a series of events in the coming years, and through individuals along the way God showed me His love for me.

"Since becoming a Christian at the age of 14, God completely turned my life upside down.

"He totally changed my goals, dreams and aspirations from being a chef in a top London restaurant to serving him.

"As a Christian my life has been quite an adventure, and God has given me some amazing experiences, from serving him on mission trips in Kenya and Nepal, to living and working on a hard South London council estate, bringing the hope of the gospel to many who had never stepped foot in a church before.

"However, even though it's been and adventure it has not been void of hard times, and there has been heartache along the way. But even in the tough times I have learned to rely on God whatever circumstances I have faced, even in the midst of heart ache and tragedy I have come to rely on the peace that God gives."
