Going up and down the stairs with ease
THERE is nothing quite like regaining the pleasure of going up and down your stairs whenever you like.
It may seem a small thing – but it's a big part of maintaining your independence.
At Cavendish Health Care in Torquay, stairlifts are a comfortable, safe and reliable way of getting up and down the stairs.
Simple to operate, stairlifts do not damage your home as the rail is attached to the stairs and not the wall.

Stairlifts comprise three main components – a rail, a carriage and a seat. The carriage contains the motor that lifts it up and down the rail or track.
The seat sits on top of the carriage and has the controls in the arms, although remote controls that allow multiple users to direct the lift both up and down the stairs are also available.
At Cavendish Health Care, new stairlifts start from £1,495 for the most popular straight model and increase in price for more complex curved lifts, and they supply models from several manufacturers, including Stannah.
