PC Simon Lee said: “We are appealing for witnesses to the damage to these beach huts.
"Maintenance and repair to these huts can be costly and we will deal robustly with anyone found to be involved. Those carrying out graffiti usually have a specific word or logo that they spray, known as a ‘tag’.
"On this occasion the words 'KESH BROKE' appear to have been sprayed.
"Do you know who uses this tag?”
Anyone with any information should contact the Police on the new non emergency number 101 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555111.

“It's not bad, I'd like to see the artist colour in the letters. The message is good, symptomatic of our 'I'm all right Jack' selfishness. Kesh clearly isn't happy.”
