Gerry Kass and Jacob Boothroid both passed the highest of the brown belt grades, putting them just one step away from going for their coveted black belts next year.
Sophie Glover, Phoebe Holden and Alice Giorgi are now second Kyu Brown belts and Annie Glover, Tom Giorgi and Richard Kass achieved their first brown belt. Alannah Evans and Emily Tidborough fought extremely hard to be awarded their blue belts and finally Jason Garside did a spectacular grading to be awarded his green belt.
Sensei Becky Lees said: "The grading was the strongest the club has ever seen and Jon and I are very proud of how well they all did, it was a real pleasure to be taught by the systems grandmaster and all the students including those who attended the session really learnt a lot."
