Sponsored by local music shop Teign Music, the weekend was opened by local Battle of the Bands winners Datura.

Having only been together for three weeks, they performed an accomplished 20-minute set of Jeff Healy/Doors-style music.
Following them were local covers band Shrine, who performed some classic songs to warm up the gathering crowd.
The crowd who were initially put off by the overcast conditions, which grew as the afternoon progressed.
But the grey clouds lifted and the sun welcomed the awesome young talent of Vivid Sky, a group of young lads from the Torbay area.
There had been a lot of talk about this band and they did not disappoint playing a 45-minute set of rock covers from Iron Maiden to ACDC.
They also played three of their own songs and played an encore demanded by the crowd.
Local Dawlish boy Gary Nock and his band followed soon after with a range of songs proving him to be a very professional singer songwriter with a band that complemented his style.
Teignmouth band, Outfit, brought the crowd to their feet with their energetic style of rap and ska leading nicely into a performance by Route 66 show band, fronted by ex Dr and The Medics front man Dr Rev Clive Jackson.
Complete with dancing girls and three different styles of vocalist, they performed cover versions of American songs from Bon Jovi to Meat Loaf, and Don Mclean to Guns and Roses, including Spirit in the Sky.
After a brief interlude, the festival hit the evening session with two top quality bands.
First up were Teignmouth favourites The Quails, who bought the near capacity crowd to its feet, for an hour of their best music including new songs and old favourites.
Torbay rockers Morph closed the show with some high power rock.
