Guard of honour for former Royal Marine
ROYAL Marines veterans organised a guard of honour for one of their own as he was laid to rest.
Friends and regimental colleagues paid their final respect to Frank Percival with a parade of standards and a Royal Marine bugler sounding the Last Post and Reveille at the end of a special send off service at Torbay Crematorium.

Mr Percival joined the Royal Marines in Kent in February 1947 aged 17 and a half. He returned to civilian life in 1969 after reaching the rank of Colour Sergeant after serving in Malaysia, Borneo, Cyprus, Malta, Singapore and Hong Kong as a vehicle artificer.
The 83-year-old also served onboard HMS Bulwark.

He married Marjorie in April 1949 and set up a workshop in Zambia for three years followed by a brief spell in Saudi Arabia.
With Marjorie he went to Sudan where he set up another workshop.
The couple, who had no children, returned to the UK where they set up home in Chudleigh Knighton.
Having been diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2009, Mr Percival died in Torbay Hospital last month.
He will be sadly missed by his widow Marjorie and his friends including the Royal Marines Association Torbay branch where he was vice chairman and the Parachute Regiment Association Torbay of which he was the treasurer.
Members of the Royal British Legion also attended his funeral to pay their final respects.
