Gulls welcome Scott
TORQUAY United Football Club became the latest stopping off point for a football fan walking the length and breadth of the country in a bid to visit all 92 Football League clubs.
Scott McLachlan (right) from Portsmouth has put on his walking boots and taken on the nationwide challenge to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK, quitting his job in the process to allow him to complete the seven-month long mission.
His visit to Plainmoor came almost four weeks into his trek.
He said: "I wanted to do something challenging and amazing. I did some research and found that no one had walked to all of the clubs.

"It had been cycled, but never walked. As a football fan myself I thought it was a great idea.
"The whole thing took several months of organisation, and I had to save up a lot of money, which I hoped was enough to sustain me while I visited all of the clubs. I'm being hosted by people as I go around, which has been working out quite well."
After visiting Plymouth, Torquay and Exeter, Scott headed on to Yeovil.
