Harford and Peach impress in gusty Dublin Bay
TWO Royal Torbay Yacht Club Sailors were part of a RYA select team picked to compete at the RS Feva Irish Nationals and came away with an age-group prize.
Morgan Peach, 13, from Tower House School in Paignton, and Herbie Harford from Kings College, Taunton, were part of a three-boat RYA National Squad team to travel to Dun Laoghaire to compete against 55 Irish boats.

On day one the fleet headed out into Dublin Bay in shifting conditions and the boys posted an impressive fourth, fifth and first for the overnight lead.
On day two the race officer decided to race the fleet in the relative shelter of the harbour as the breeze was a constant 20 knots… gusting to much more!
Team GBR's Rob and Emma Loveridge from Draycote Water (Northant) gave the home sailors a master class in downwind sailing and scored a first and second in the only two races of the day.
Peach and Harford, who were among the youngest crews, scored an impressive fourth and seventh.
The wind was honking around Dublin Bay on day three. After a two-hour postponement, the organisers decided to call it a day.
With one discard Peach and Harford ended the regatta in fourth place with the Loveridges a point above in third.
The final GBR boat, crewed by current world champions Owen Bowerman and Charlie Darling, finished tenth.
The Torquay boys also picked up the award for being the top U14 boat.
