Helicopter in Chudleigh Knighton baby airlift
THE police helicopter was called in on Saturday afternoon to take an eight-day-old baby to hospital from Chudleigh knighton.
The helicopter was called at about 2.05pm by the South West Ambulance Service. The aircraft landed 10 minutes later at a sports field in Chudleigh Knighton and took the baby, said to be in severe medical distress, to the Accident & Emergency department at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
