Hello Dollies as rockers make it big in model village
UP-AND-COMING pop starlets The Dolly Rockers graced Babbacombe Model Village yesterday during a photo shoot for the launch of their first single in July.
The three girls who make up the band are hotly-tipped by BBC Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills to be a huge hit this summer.

The trio of 20-year-olds from London, Manchester and Leeds are Brooke Challinor, Lucie Kay and Sophie King. They first formed four years ago after answering an ad in The Stage magazine and in 2006 they found their way into Louis Walsh's house while on the TV talent show the X-factor.
The X-Factor judge told them to go away because they were too young. Since then they have been working with Ray Hedges, who has worked with stars Estelle and Take That.
They have been working hard to bring what the band call their 'wonky pop' or 'drunk disco' sound to the masses.
The girls were sitting pretty, made up to the hilt in towering heels and short skirts during their Torquay shoot, with super long eyelashes and bright red lip stick.
Lucie says their style is influenced by Alice in Wonderland.
She describes the band's sound as 'really fun, really light-hearted pop songs with attitude'.
The girls all had jobs until two months ago, but a recent signing to Parlophone, part of record company EMI, has meant they are now working full-time at being pop stars of the future.
Their first single is due out on July 27, but which track is yet to be decided by management.
For a taste of their 'wonky sound', a video of Je Suis Une Dolly can be found on YouTube.
Sophie, from Leeds, said: "Nothing phases us," as she heads for another costume change during the day-long shoot in Babbacombe.
"It is really fun," she said. "This is our first-ever proper photo shoot and we can't wait to see the pictures, and we keep walking around in costume and people keep looking at us," she adds.
Band member Brooke, from Manchester, says it sounds 'really easy and simple' to break into the pop world but added: "It isn't really hard work but you have to be really patient. You can't just expect it overnight."
