POLICE are trying to identify this man in connection with two incidents in Torquay.

CCTV shows the man walking into a 'staff only' area and allegedly stealing a purse at the Abbey Service Station in Avenue Road, Torquay.

But police say a man of a similar description may also have stolen a charity box from the Regina Hotel on Torquay harbourside.

Sgt Geraint Jones, of Torquay police, is appealing for information to help trace the man to help with their inquiries into the two incidents.
