Helping hand for cancer sufferers
CELEBRITY supporters have joined local people to back a charity concert in aid of Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust taking place in Torquay on Saturday.
More than 30 Torbay businesses have supported Jingle Bell Rock which takes place at 2.30pm on Saturday at Torquay Boys' Grammar School. The event offers a wide variety of entertainment acts, from singers to classic comedy.
Event organiser Emma Beenham said: "The support we've received from the public has been amazing.
"We've had so many offers to help with transport, decoration and many other things from the general public and celebrities. The greatest thing has been the amount of emails we've had wishing us the best of luck, as well as actress Kristen Stewart tweeting us good luck."

Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust offers support to women and their families affected by cervical cancer.
Every year an event is organised in aid of the charity with previous years involving fancy dress sponsored runs and swimathons.
Emma added: "I've had some very close friends who have been supported by this charity for years, and continue to have that support for as long as they need it. Jo's Trust does an amazing job."
