IT'S fun, fun, fun for the visitors at the Ashvale holiday centre in Paignton.

The centre has been honoured in the Fun and Laughter, Lively and Leisurely category at the annual Hoseasons gala awards dinner.

Ashvale was named the Best in Devon and Somerset in the category for exceptional quality and outstanding customer service.

The award ceremony took place at Piperdam Golf and Leisure Resort, near Dundee, and showcased the achievements of Hoseasons' 470 holiday lodges and parks throughout the UK.

Ashvale manager Nicola Furneaux said: "We are absolutely delighted.

"This award recognises the effort and hard work put in by every member of the team, all of whom are responsible for ensuring our customers have a great holiday experience.

"This award shows that this work has paid off and we aim to continue to deliver great UK holidays in 2011."

The gala dinner and award ceremony including a speech from four-times Olympic gold medallist Sir Matthew Pinsent.
