Homecoming outdoor gig set to make a Big Wave in Torquay
TORQUAY'S ABBEY GARDENS is hosting an exclusive outdoor homecoming gig from popular five piece guitar popband Big Wave, fresh from playing at Dorset's End of the Road Music Festival last weekend with the likes of Beach House, Patti Smith and Graham Coxon.
One World Cafe is putting on the free event this Saturday 8 September from 7pm, following last week's successful return of another Torquay band, Oxbow Lakes.

"Last weekend's End of the Road festival was great; and we've had some real positive feedback. It looks like we've picked up some new fans and it was a real privilege to play on that line-up," said Big Wave bassist Pete Malone, "We're all very excited to be playing in Torquay again and can't wait to take to the stage Saturday night."
One World Café are offering free entry to Saturday's gig, which features support from new act Torbay act Tourists - made up of former members of Spies and Le Papillion.
