Joinery firm ceases trading as it goes into liquidation
AN ESTABLISHED joinery and carpentry business in Heathfield has ceased trading.
Bovey Joinery (above), of Fairfax Road, Heathfield Industrial Estate, has gone into voluntary liquidation.

The announcement came just days after it was revealed the company had invested £25,000 in relocating to bigger premises to accommodate its 'recent success'.
It is unclear how many jobs have been lost and how much is owed to creditors.
Accountancy and business recovery practice Lameys, based in Courtenay Park, Newton Abbot, said a meeting will be held with creditors in due course.
Peter Simkin, an insolvency manager at Lameys, said: "We have been contacted by the directors of the company to assist with placing the company into voluntary liquidation.
"The company has ceased trading. Assets will now be liquidised and sold off to make payments to the creditors of the company.
"Lameys has been assisting the directors with this process. Liquidators will also be appointed at a later date.
"A meeting with creditors is to be held in due course."
One supplier, who did not wish to be named, said he had received a letter from Lameys outlining the situation.
He said: "The letter just outlined the basics about what had happened to the company. It didn't really come as any surprise."
Bovey Joinery has been established for 20 years and, according to its website, provides specialist joinery for listed buildings, reproduction and architectural work.
In February the firm announced it had moved from its premises in Wentworth Road to a unit which was four times bigger in Fairfax Road.
At the time, company director Martin Brunt said: "The move to larger premises reflects our recent success."
