'Knife' man damages police car at Paignton
A MAN carrying a knife in the street was reported to police at lunchtime today.
Police and an ambulance were called to a disturbance at a property in Queen Elizabeth Drive, Paignton at 12.25pm.

When the emergency services arrived the man reportedly ran over a stationary police car, breaking the windscreen.
A police spokesman said that the knife had been taken from the knife by a relative before police arrived at the scene.

A man aged 25 was restrained by police officers and taken to Torbay Hospital by paramedics. He was not said to be seriously injured.
