TORQUAY United play Liverton United in a Devon St Luke's Challenge Cup second-round tie at Coach Road, Newton Abbot tonight (7.30pm).

Torquay will field a strong 'reserve' side to face Liverton, who are tasting Carlsberg South West Peninsula League Premier Division football for the first time this season under experienced manager Tony Bowker.

The Gulls' line-up includes two players who saw action in last Saturday's 2-1 npower League Two home win over Dagenham and Redbridge – winger Niall Thompson and striker Ashley Yeoman – plus recent loan signing Angus MacDonald, from Reading, at centre-back.
