LIVE BLOG: Torquay United v Fleetwood Town
SATURDAY afternoon football returns to Plainmoor with the first ever visit of Fleetwood Town.
The Gulls had the honour of playing the first league game at Fleetwood's Highbury Stadium back in August, a match that ended in a 0-0 draw.

For today's return fixture United must start without top scorer Rene Howe, who is suspended after picking up his 10th booking of the season at Cheltenham last weekend.
Due to postponements and rearrangements, Torquay haven't played at home on a Saturday since December 15, when they drew 1-1 with Northampton.

“Just how bad do the results have to be before somebody makes the decision to find a new manager?
The chickens are coming home to roost now because the really good players that remained in the squad when Buckle was here have now moved on and their replacements have not been of the same calibre. Martin Ling, I am sure, is a nice chap but I do not think he will be in football management much longer. He is currently employing semi professional long ball tactics and has no alternative. You cannot survive the Football League employing these tactics and we are gradually dropping lower and lower. I doubt that Bristol Rovers or Plymouth will finish below us and we will be the ones struggling to hang on.
Time for a fresh pair of hands at the helm me thinks.”

leafy Hertforshire .
