TORQUAY United secured three priceless points in their battle to avoid relegation by beating York City at a bitterly cold Plainmoor on Saturday afternoon.
Goals from Elliot Benton and Ryan Jarvis gave Torquay a two goal interval lead. A Richard Cresswell penalty gave York a lifeline and a red card for Tom Cruise meant Torquay finished the game with ten men.
