LIVE TOUR OF BRITAIN BLOG: No mistakes as Cav sprints to victory
MARK Cavendish clinched an impressive victory in a sprint finish to the third stage of the Tour of Britain today.
Having missed out in the final charge to the line yesterday, the man they call the Manx Missile had time for his trademark celebration as he crossed the line in Dumfries this afternoon.

He had been led out by his Team sky wingman Bernie Eisel, and he tore across the line with time to spare.
Yanto Barker from Dartington, riding for Team UK Youth, was 10th in the final sprint today.

Australian Leigh Howard of the Orica-GreenEdge team was second in today's sprint and assumed the yellow jersey of the overall race leader.
The Tour comes to Devon on Saturday, with a stage which starts in Barnstaple and finishes on the Embankment at Dartmouth.
