TUESDAY AFTERNOON FOOTBALL: Torquay United 1-1 Nike Academy XI
STRIKER Ryan Jarvis grabbed a late equaliser as Torquay United's fringe first team players and triallists faced the youngsters of the Nike Academy at Plainmoor this afternoon.
Triallists on show included former Bristol Rovers man Byron Anthony and ex-Cardiff City youngster Alex Evans, both central defenders.
Torquay, who missed a penalty, fell behind to a goal from Academy sub Tom Folyton-Brown before Jarvis levelled the scores after good work by Ashley Yeoman.
