THE winners of the Torbay Sports Awards 2012 will be revealed tonight at a glittering awards ceremony at the Riviera Conference Centre.

Hosted jointly between Torbay Council and the Herald Express for the first time, this year's awards are bigger and better than ever before.

Finalists have been hand-picked by a team of judges from a raft of nominations across the 10 categories.

Television and radio personality David Fitzgerald will compere the event, while speakers include Lawrie McMenemy MBE and World Cup rower Marcus Bateman.
