WOMEN'S SOCCER: Following the customary mid season break, the Westward Developments Devon Women's Football League restarts, weather permitting, with a full list of fixtures for Sunday, January 6. Premier Division title favourites Alphington travel to play Ashmoor, who have made an impressive start to their first season in the Premier Division. A home win for Peter Boston's young squad would open up the title race and provide an exciting second half to the season.In Division One Brixham Villa, also have a chance to challenge the top sides, if they pick up maximum points from their outstanding games and they start when they make their shortest journey of the season, across the Bay, to take on Plainmoor Ladies, who are finding life a bit tough on their return to the League.
