Land and sea search for man in the water at Goodrington
BOTH Torbay lifeboats were launched and a shore search carried out at Paignton early today after reports that what Coastguard described as a 'despondent' man had gone into the water at Goodrington.
The alarm was raised at 4.35am.

Coastguard and police search teams scoured the shore and the inshore and all-weather lifeboats searched at sea.
The man was located by police at his home address. An ambulance was sent as the man had been in the water.
