Lawton cracks 59 as Chelston chase
CHELSTON bounced back from their defeat by leaders Filleigh with a five-wicket win over Yarcombe.
The Torquay side completed, a superb run chase at Yarcombe, where they bowled the home side out for 226 then knocked them off with six overs to spare.

Simon Durrant (46) and Tom Rich (42) were the principle run getters for the home side as Mark Hurlestone (5-75) and skipper Barry Griffiths (2-43), took wickets.
Mike Lawton then hit 59 and Wojciech Szymanski (47) whilst the skipper chipped in with an unbeaten 47 that also included scoring the winning runs.
Rex Helston took 2-46 for the East Devon side
Shaldon are up to fourth in the table after taking the best of a high-scoring draw home from Upottery.
The visitors batted first and were once again given a fruitful start by James Fulner (53) before Todd Bullman (74) and 14-year-old Seamus McKenna (31) took up the mantle.
Young McKenna hit seven 4's in his innings and the later runs came from Jack Saunders (28no) and Rob Larkman (22) in a final total of 288 for nine.
Adam Crabb bowled superbly to return figures of 5-59 and skipper Stuart Drew bagged a brace.
Peter Legge then led the run chase with a magnificent unbeaten 90 but the next best offering was the 17 from former Newton rugby player Gary Kennard as the reply petered out on 201 for seven.Carl Woolnough took four for 53 for Shaldon.
Kingskerswell, who are just four points behind Shaldon in fourth place, collected the anticipated win at Cullompton.
Cully haven't won a match since the end of the 2007 campaign – that's a season and a half now – and never looked like ending that run at Kerswell's expense.
Malcolm Paiva (37) and Richard Martin (16) provided the bulk of the runs in a home total of 118.
Paul Harding (4-21), Antony Waters (2-23) and skipper Chris Hurrell (2-9), claimed wickets.
Waters then struck 52 and Mark Stephens hit 21 as the visitors claimed a seven-wicket win.
Youngster, Will Bowles claimed two of the wickets and James Shere was the other successful Cully bowler.
