WALDON needed extra time to win this close fought cup tie 2-1. Jake Mann raced through after good work from Lewis Haggan for an early lead. Newton 66s' Max Courtier deservedly equalised in the dying minutes. Luke Lewis won the game with a towering header with five minutes to go.

Dartmouth U14s 4 Waldon U14s 2

DARTMOUTH took the lead in the first minute of the game and added another within 15 minutes. Waldon capitalised on a mistake to score their first through Joe Hill.

The second half saw three more goals scored, two by Dartmouth and a sweeping move to allow Waldons Alfie McLennan to loft the ball over the goalkeeper into the top corner.

Waldon Athletic U15s 2 WBB U15s 5

WALDON Athletic U15s opened the scoring against WBB through Jack Hammond leading up to the break. But with no fresh legs to bring on, Waldon went down to 10 men. WBB took control and scored five goals. Despite losing another player – going to nine men – Waldon managed to pull two goals back, through Callum Robinson and Hammond.

Waldon Athletic U15's are looking for more players to add to their squad. Training is at Torquay Academy all-weather pitch 7-30pm-9pm Thursday
