Lifeboat launched to rescue woman in the water at Kingswear
DARTMOUTH'S lifeboat was launched late last night after reports of a woman in the water just off the Kingswear Lower Ferry slipway.
RNLI volunteers launched the boat just before 11pm in choppy conditions with light rain.
The coastguard requested the launch and the lifeboat had just reached the scene as a Brixham fire crew assisted the woman from the water by the bridge to the ferry pontoon and the lifeboat was stood down.
