EVERY drama group has experienced the horrors of what can go wrong on the night and, with the Farndale ladies, everything certainly does.

The interestingly titled They Came From Mars and Landed Outside The Farndale Church Hall In Time For The Townswomen's Guild's Coffee Morning (pictured) is a comedy by David Mc Gillivray and Walter Zerlin Jnr.

Goodness knows how they get the title on the banners.

Under the directorship of Louise Allison, members of Dawlish Rep will put on the production at The Shaftesbury Theatre from Tuesday, August 9, until Saturday, August 13.

In the show, the townswomen's guild ladies and their long-suffering stage manager Gordon attempt lift-off with their dramatic society's unique production of a sci-fi thriller.
