Lions provide respiratory help
TORBAY Hospital staff took a breather from their busy schedule to accept new respiratory equipment from the Lions Club of Torquay.
The donation was inspired by Brenda Griffiths, who wanted to make a gesture on behalf of her late husband.

Tony Griffiths, a former president of the Torquay Lions, had been a patient at the hospital's Heart and Lung Unit.
Brenda ran a series of fundraising raffles at monthly lunches she organises for Lions ladies and widows.
The Torquay Lions then boosted her total to £2,450, enabling Brenda to purchase a bi-level positive airway pressure machine, which provides non-invasive ventilation of patients.
