Love is in the air for Dawlish's event day
A Devon town is preparing to celebrate Valentine's Day on a whole new scale.
'Love Dawlish' will be a day of interactive events in the South Devon town on the theme of love.

Storytelling will be part of the activities and entertainment on offer at the Love Dawlish event
The day will include performances, workshops and activities, including a 'Passionometer' to test the strength of love and an 'Imaginarium' to listen to stories and songs on the topic. People of all ages are being encouraged to attend the event in the town centre, on February 16.
Sophie McCormack, of Dawlish-based social enterprise Promenade Promotions, said: "We are working with local traders to boost sales at a chilly time of year, so there will be stalls selling locally made goods to sweeten the sourest swain and trinkets to melt the meanest maiden's heart."
