Lush Life's Lilli takes to the stage for children in conflict
MUSIC student Lilli Unwin from Totnes is taking to the stage tonight for her first big gig as part of her sixth form studies, and to raise cash for charity.
Lilli, who is studying music, drama and sociology, has organised the Ariel Centre concert at King Edward VI Community College as her extended project, which she hopes will win her an extra AS qualification.

But she is also hoping to raise money for the War Child charity, which helps children caught up in conflicts around the world.
Lilli has involved her musical school friends, and her piano-playing dad Tom, in the concert which kicks off at 7pm.
Lilli, the vocalist with her own jazz group Lush Life, will be on stage with drummer George Haddow, bass player Jamie Benzies and dad.
Part of the line-up will be instrumental guitarist Jethro Cooke and tuned percussionists Molly Lopresti-Richards, Harriet Riley and Hess Clarke.
Tickets are £4 a head and £2 for students.
Lilli, who lives in Totnes, said she had performed in public before but this would be the biggest gig she had been involved in.
She said the War Child charity is 'really important'.
She added: "Children don't start wars and it is important to support them when they can't do anything about what is going on in the world.
"Also, a friend of a friend used to work for the charity and I think it is a great one."
