Marina development gets restaurant go-ahead
A new restaurant has been given the green light as part of a £1 million hotel investment.
The Dart Marina, in Dartmouth, will start work on its 90-cover restaurant featuring a glass wall allowing diners to enjoy views over the River Dart. The project is due to finish in late spring after South Hams District Council gave planning permission.
Dart Marina manager Paul Downing said the restaurant would be elegant, light and spacious.
He said: "We are investing a million pounds in the hotel as part of our ongoing commitment to maintain the highest standards for our guests."
The project includes 14 newly redesigned guest rooms. For construction work to be carried out, Dart Marina will be closed between January 29 and February 24.
