Milford among tough company
TEIGNBRIDGE Trotters made the short trip to Exeter Arena for the latest round of the Ironbridge Runner 3k series.
In the A Race Daryl Milford found himself in tough company as he finished sixth in a field of 15 in a time of 9.51.

In the B Race there were 13 competitors. Travis Wood was third in 11.24 and Craig Churchill seventh in 11.33.
Geoff Davey led the field of 18 home in the D racer in a time of 10.37, followed by John Tweedie second in 11.31 and Wilf Taylor fifth in 11.51.

A number of Trotters were experiencing track running for the first time in the E race.
In a field of 15 Neil Pallant was second in 12.43, Tamsin Cook eithth in 14.00, Guy Roberts 11th in 14.33, Catherine Barnes 12th in 14.45, Eleanor Taylor 13th in 14.52 and Jo Billyard 14th in 15.18.
SOUTH Devon Athletics Club staged the third race in their 3km race series.
The race, open to first and second-claim members of the club, attracted 29 runners.
The course started at the Hollicombe Cliff end of Preston promenade and ended at Tanners Lane in Goodrington.
The leading group flashed past half way at the Apollo cinema in close to five minutes and gradually sorted out their order over the second half.
Russell Cleave held off a strong challenge from Tris Sellors as they finished first and second in 10.12 and 10.13 with Rob Ledger completing the top three in 10.18.
Michelle Moore claimed the first lady's spot in 12.51. Eighty-one year old Ken House finished in a superb 17.38.
