Motorist admits using his car as a weapon
A motorist has admitted using his car as a weapon after it mounted the pavement and hit another man.
Father-of-five Dennis Morgan, 32, was remanded in custody to await sentence at Exeter Crown Court after pleading guilty to causing actual bodily harm to Alan Amess.

The two men had been involved in an argument before the incident in which Morgan's Ford Ka hit the victim in Princes Road West, Torquay, on January 11 this year.
Morgan, of Greenway Gardens, Torquay, will be sentenced after a probation report has been prepared.
He was remanded in custody.
