The charge states that on or before January 19, Vane committed murder.

Prosecutor David Barnes said the matter had to be sent to crown court and Vane was remanded in custody.

She subsequently appeared at Plymouth Crown Court on Wednesday where a judge ruled on whether she should remain in custody.
