Old Brewery FC inflicted a first defeat of the season on Plough Inn FC at Buckland and Milber and ensured their own 100 percent start, despite a Plough fightback. Brewery secured a 4-2 win after opening up a 3-0 half time lead but Jamie Bradley's brace caused a few furrowed brows before the points were sewn up by Ollie Critchlow, Chris Harrity, Josh Briscomb and an own goal.

New league leaders Brewery face Torbay Wanderers FC at Quinta, while Plough will be hoping to get back in the groove v Wheel Power FC at Barton Downs.Mike Srdinko (3), Richie Baker (3), Dave Worthington (3), Jordan Lam (2) and Chris Srdinko all scored for Wheel Power against Moon FC at soggy Clennon Valley. After a slow start, Power got into gear and accelerated from 4-0 at half time to run out 12-0 winners. Moon will surely have more effect on Indian Ocean FC at Paignton Community College next week.

Torbay Wanderers started strongly against Indian Ocean but finished on the wrong end of a 4-3 thriller at Cricketfield Road. The scoreline ebbed and flowed through Stuart Pointon, Darren Munday, Dexter Roose and Tom Evans for Ocean while Neil Last (2) and Owen Last countered.

Spartans FC go back into action at King George V against Dog and Duck FC whose game with Palace Place Boys FC was abandoned in the second half with D&D leading 7-2 after too many injuries to Palace players.
