From guided walks to bat watching and clay days the guide has something to entice people of all ages into exploring the countryside all around the district throughout each month of the year.
This year's guide is packed with lots of ideas for expeditions, walks, talks and volunteer activities suitable for all ages throughout the year.
The majority of the events are free and charged activities cost no more than £4.
Events range from nature walks and woodwork crafts to rewarding voluntary work such as coppice clearing and hay raking, all designed to protect and enhance the district's natural environment.
Each event is led by a professional Teignbridge Green Spaces Ranger and the programme includes a number of activities specially designed for young people, for all the family or just adults to enjoy.
Teignbridge's green spaces include national nature reserves, formal parks and gardens, meadows, woods, heaths, marshes and sand dunes. Many sites are within walking distance of local communities, are open all year, and are free for everyone to enjoy.
The illustrated, detailed brochure is now available online at www.teignbridge.gov.uk or in hard copy from libraries, information centres, schools, Decoy Country Park office, Dawlish Warren visitor centre, and Teignbridge District Council offices.
Cllr George Gribble, Teignbridge Executive Spokesperson for Communities, Recreation and Leisure said:
"We live in a wonderful and stunning part of the world and are very pleased to share some of our most important natural assets with local people and visitors. The great outdoors in Teignbridge is one big playground and it's fantastic that we are able to provide such a wide range of activities for everyone.
"I'd encourage everyone to get hold of a copy of the guide and make a few dates to enjoy our local environment. The events are a great way to make special memories with your family, meet new friends and learn more about what is right here on our doorstep. The guide contains all the details you need for our friendly Green Spaces Rangers and you will find them to be friendly and welcoming."
